SDI-C ADDS CONTACT RELAY CONTROL ONTO ANY SDI CCTV CAMERA
These units transmit and receive contact closure alarm and relay control signals encoded onto any SDI video path. You can insert your contact closure alarm and control signals anywhere an SDI video signal is being used. Alarm and control signals will be carried over any distance the SDI video signal is capable of being transmitted. Contact closures on the SDI-CTX (transmitter) input will be repeated as relay contact closures at the SDI-CRX (receiver) output.
The SDI-C system is an 8 channel alarm and control system that connects to any SDI video signal. The alarm and control signals are inserted onto the SDI signal so that they will not interfere with the picture. The Contact information signal is removed in the receiver so that the SDI output video signal is clean.
This system will transmit 8 alarm contacts and may be ordered with supervised alarm contact resistance on the input and output. When ordering a supervised option please specify the resistance when you place your order. A system alarm will operate upon loss of power to either terminal or loss of transmission path (cable cut). In the event of power failure the video thru-put is not interrupted.
The system is housed in black ABS enclosures that have a UL flame rating of 94-VO and is powered by 24VAC power transformers. The system has LED power indicator lights to verify installation.
