Description:
AGILE INPUT & OUTPUT FM CHANNEL CONVERTER The FMC664CC is a two part FM channel converter. The FM band input frequency may be selected with a digital phase-lock-loop tuner in steps of 200 KHz to any FCC assigned channel. The FM band output frequency may also be selected with a second digital phase-lock-loop frequency control system. This means that the FMC664CC is fully frequency agile in both the input and output channel. Since these frequencies may be very close together (or even on the same frequency), the input circuitry must be well shielded from the output, which is a much stronger signal. For this reason the input circuit board is separate from the output board. When only one converter is required, the two boards may be placed in one PMS610 Mainframe, as long as the input frequency is separated from the output frequency by at least 400 KHz. When two or more converters are required, all receiving boards should be in one PMS610 Mainframe, and all transmitting boards should be together in another Mainframe. Each Mainframe is 1.75″ high and holds up to 3 circuit boards, so two Mainframes will provide up to three FMC664CC FM Channel Converters. The Mainframes should be paired-up with the transmitters directly above the demodulators, with the cabling between them.
