The BPF-600 Band Pass Filter is used to condition the output of an SDI camera to use as a test signal to measure the capability of a cable to pass the SDI signal reliably.
The filter passes signals in the 600 MHz region of an SDI camera output signal, limiting the level and confining the energy to the 600 MHz band. When used with an SDI-2 true power meter any cable can be checked to see if the SDI signal will go the distance.
This filter introduces a -10 dB loss when measuring an SDI camera output.
The filter has a male and female BNC connector so it can be introduced into the cable at any point.
