FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE |
TWO CCTV CAMERAS DIPLEXED ON ONE COAX FM SYSTEMS, INC. has developed Diplexing equipment to transmit two CCTV Television signals over one coaxial cable. This system can be used to add-on a second camera onto an existing coaxial cable to avoid having to install a second cable. In many cased the diplexing equipment is less costly than running a second cable.
The TVP-20 Transmitter Video Plexer combines the add-on camera signal with the original camera video signal on the coaxial cable. The RVP-20 Receiver Video Plexer recovers and separates the two television signals transmitted on the coaxial cable.
On long coaxial cable runs the diplexed picture will be clearer and sharper than a standard video installation. The diplexed television signal does not loose high frequency picture definition, caused by coaxial cable slope loss. This improved transmission quality takes place on diplexed video without the need for cable equalization or amplification. The picture quality of existing CCTV cameras with long cable runs can be improved by Diplexing with the TVP-20 and RVP-20 video transmission system.
A CCTV cameras can be located even farther away from the monitor location when using the Diplexer system by using standard, inexpensive CATV Line Extender amplifiers in the coaxial cable run. Distances of several miles are possible by combining the TVP-20/ RVP-20 with CATV line extender amplifiers.
